DIRECTIONS TO MOSQUITO CREEK MARINA

To the sailing yacht “KINOHI” From the Vancouver Airport

  • Take the Canada Line sky train to downtown Vancouver to Waterfront Station and the Seabus Terminal at the foot of Main Street. The Seabus is the public transport from the downtown city core to North Vancouver.
  • Take the Seabus to the Lonsdale Quay in N. Vancouver. Mosquito Creek Marina is one block west of the Seabus terminal in North Vancouver and can be seen as you approach N.Van.
  • Enter Mosquito Creek Marina, cross the parking lot to the Mosquito Creek Marina office building.
  • You will be met at the gate beside the marina office building, or enter the marina on “F” dock and proceed until you get to the boatsheds, turn left at the boatsheds and KINOHI will be moored at the end of this dock (J 9).

HIGHWAY #1 to North Vancouver over the Second Narrows Bridge.

  • Keep in FAR RIGHT LANE on the bridge and take the MAIN STREET exit. (The second exit.)
  • Follow MAIN St. WEST onto the LOW LEVEL ROAD (along side the train tracks).
  • Stay on the LOW LEVEL ROAD until it changes name to ESPLANADE Ave.
  • Travel WEST on ESPLANADE past LONSDALE AVE for about three blocks.
  • Where ESPLANADE turns to the right up the hill (FORBES Ave.), turn left towards Burrard Inlet into Mosquito Creek Marina.
  • Cross the parking lot to the MOSQUITO CREEK MARINA office building. Park near here and purchase a parking pass.
  • You will be met at the gate beside the marina office building, or enter the marina on “F” dock and proceed until you get to the boatsheds, turn left at the boatsheds and KINOHI will be moored at the end of this dock (J 9).
  • Recommended accommodation at the Lonsdale Quay Hotel (604-986-6111) at the Lonsdale Quay
  • Pooles Bed & Breakfast (604-987-4594) which is a short taxi ride from the Seabus and Mosquito Creek Marina.
