Basic Sailing Lessons
Objective: To be able to cruise safely in local waters in moderate wind and sea conditions by day.
Join us for a 5-day live-aboard sailing and learning experience with Capt. Mac’s School of Seamanship. Board our custom 42′ yacht Kinohi in Vancouver, B.C. to depart for the Gulf Islands. Learn boat handling under sail and power, boat safety, anchoring, navigation and seamanship.

Upon the completion of a practical skills evaluation and written CYA (Canadian Yachting Association) exam, successful candidates will be awarded the CYA Basic Cruising Standard Certification.
